● Developed and executed global apparel sourcing strategies across Asia, Middle East, and Africa through strategic partnerships and stakeholder collaboration;
● Managed diverse factory supplier portfolio and evaluated new manufacturing partners based on comprehensive criteria including costs, technical capabilities, capacity, quality, compliance, and sustainability metrics;

● Joined the personalized video shout-out startup as a late co-founder to build the e-commerce platform from scratch;

● Scaled up the product categories including fashion, accessories, beauty, home and living, etc.
● Acted as key domestic liaison with all stakeholders including retailers, brands, manufacturers, and service providers.

● Provided leadership and oversight to the Purchasing team (clothing, shoes, accessories, cosmetics, home & and décor);

● Managed the sourcing of PL and buying of branded products ensuring quality, delivery, and specification levels were met;

● Collaborated with internal teams (Sales, CS, Logistics, and Accounting) to maximize working capital and customer satisfaction;
● Worked with Sales and Marketing teams to create forecasts that aligned with customer demand;

● Restructured the fashion category and built a new team comprised of category managers, buyers, and junior buyers;
● Strategic and operational leader with full P&L responsibility for the fashion category covering clothing, footwear, bags & and accessories, watches, and sunglasses;
● Guided the company sales performance and had direct oversight of all commercial activities, including vendor acquisition, vendor management, and category development;
● Established commercial relationships and negotiated contracts with leading fashion brands in the EU and Turkiye;
● Planned the purchases of seasonal collections and managed inventory levels;
● Worked with vendors on promotions and marketing initiatives and coordinated with the digital marketing team;
● Developed long-term vision, strategies, and business plan for the B2C marketplace;
● Managed merchant acquisition and business model for listing on the marketplace;
● Worked closely with IT and Operations to develop platform, functions, and features that create excellent customer experience;
● Worked closely with the digital social media and CRM team to drive traffic and consumer loyalty.

● Ownership of the online business and all digital presence, omni-channel customer-facing tech, UX, e-commerce platform (Shopify), web design, CRM, loyalty, payment, fraud, operations, logistics, warehouse, supply chain, administration, ERP, IT;
● Provided leadership and partner with digital marketing agencies to maximize overall return on all digital marketing activities spanning SEM, SEO, PPC, affiliate, re-marketing, email marketing, web analytics, and business intelligence;
● Oversaw all pre & after wholesale operations including digital showroom management, collection photo-shooting, line-sheet management, order management (Le New Black, Zedonk), B2B Customer Relationship Management, and payment follow-up;
● Management of warehousing, B2B, B2C, D2C order fulfillment, local and global distribution, returns and exchanges.
